CCI publicly called out election candidates in Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Today, the Centers for Civil Initiatives sent 31 letters to the addresses of parties and independent candidates in the Brcko District of BiH. We publicly call for the statements of political entities to improve the results of the public audit process in the Brčko District of BiH.

In this way, political entities are invited to give a written statement and a public promise that their candidates, who are on the electoral lists for the 2020 local elections in the Brčko District of BiH, will support the establishment of a more efficient mechanism for monitoring the implementation of findings and recommendations given by the Public Audit Office. administration and institutions in the Brčko District of BiH in terms of drafting the Guidelines for the conduct of audited entities with defined stakeholders and deadlines, and the establishment of a mechanism for sanctioning institutions and individuals who do not implement audit recommendations.
